Apple Sauce Baby Food
- 4 apples peeled & chopped (I use Gala or Pink lady. In my opinion green apples are too sour and red apples are too bitter for babies)
- Pot of boiling water
Directions: Peel and chop the apples into small bite size pieces. Boil the apples until fork tender. Place the apple pieces into blender and blend....if too thick add a little bit of water. Blend until you get the apple sauce consistency you want. Spoon apple sauce into ice cube trays and freeze for a couple hours or overnight. Pop out frozen pieces into ziplock bag. Reheat little cubes for baby for about 10 secs.
OR keep frozen and place in a mesh feeder for baby to soothe their sore gums while teething!!
