The Best Breastmilk Storage Bags under $20.00

If you read my last blog or watched my video on Unboxing the Medela Breast pump, then you might remember me mentioning these storage bags. These bags are my absolute favorite and must have for pumping & storing breastmilk!!! I've tried other storage bags and they work fine but the Medela bags make it easier while pumping.

The hook on tabs allow you to pump directly into the bag instead of the bottle. Personally, I don't pump directly into the bottles....I exclusively breastfeed to pumping into the bottle is kind of a waste of a bottle and more dishes to do! I pump directly into the bag (using the adapter). It's also easier for me to see how much is going into the bag and when I'm done all I have to do is seal the bag, write the date pumped and how many ounces and freeze!! Super easy and convenient!

I bought the storage bags from Amazon (it was on sale) and it came with 2 adaptors to hook on the bags. You can also get them from Target, make sure you get the adaptors! Scroll down for the links to buy the bags......and don't forget to get breast pads too, trust me you'll need them!!

How To Get a FREE Breast Pump!!

Hey Breastfeeding Moms to Be, as your going through you baby check list don't forget about getting a Breast Pump! Yes, pumps can be expensive so why not get one for FREE?! I was so excited when I found out that I can get a pump for free through my insurance. A fellow breastfeeding mama told me about Aeroflow Healthcare and that they will do all the leg work for you! Aeroflow Healthcare will you get your breastfeeding supplies covered by insurance and answer questions for breast pump help!!

All I had to do was simply fill out a form (link below) with my personal and insurance info. They emailed me within a day explaining that I was qualified to get a Free breast pump and which ones would be covered under my insurance. After being qualified I chose a pump and placed the order. I received my breast pump in less then 2 weeks after placing the order!!! It was so easy and I didn't have to go through the hassle of talking to my insurance, Aeroflow did all the work for me! I've gotten a free breast pump before, but through a different company and I had to wait until I was closer to my due date to receive the pump.

I like that I got my breast pump early on with this pregnancy (I think I was 20 weeks pregnant), because it's one less thing I have to worry about. If you already have a pump from a previous pregnancy and it's 'old', you should still be able to get another one through your insurance. I believe you can get a new pump for each pregnancy (double check through Aeroflow or your Insurance)!! So now I'll have one pump set up at home and the other pump will be in my diaper bag (score!). FYI I chose the Medela Breast pump...there's a video below of the unboxing of the breast pump.
